A word on Insurance

Samsara Psychiatry is considered Out of Network and is not contracted with any insurance providers. After your appointment, at your request, you may be provided a Superbill which can be used to request reimbursement with some insurance companies.

The advantage of private pay is that your treatment plans will be determined by you and your doctor rather than by your insurance provider. No authorizations are necessary to start treatment and no private medical records are shared with insurance companies unless you request this by submitting a Superbill. Most insurance companies do offer some out-of-network benefits, and I am happy to provide you with a Superbill invoice that you can submit for reimbursement.  You may wish to check with your insurance company to see what they will reimburse for these codes: 99205 or 90792 (new patient visit) and 99213+90833 (follow up 20-30 minute visit).
